I think it is just people picking a choosing what they think is a hit or not.
For LBP people assume it didn't meet expectations even though we have no word on what these expectations were. For that people try to downplay it as not really being a "hit".
In the case of the PSPGo we have word that Sony says it met expectations, but then we have people hop aboard the "Yeah right Sony" bandwagon and declare it a flop.
It is a simple case of picking and choosing what supports their argument. Nothing more than that. I find it amusing.
