Some (some) of these choices could make sense, for different reasons that have nothing to do with a "players choice" line:
Endless Ocean - the new game is coming out and they don't want this one to undermine the new one's sales. I think they look at it the same way they look at Wii Fit and Wii Fit Plus, once Blue World comes out, there is no more a reason for this one's existence since the new one is supposed to be an improvemnet on all fronts.
Excitebots: Trick Racing and Excite Truck - maybe they will reissue this in a 2 for the price of 1 format a la Metroid Trilogy.
Metroid Trilogy - this superb 3 games for the price of 1 package would undermine sales of Other M that is coming out this year
Metroid Prime 3: Corruption - I am clueless on this one, I belive it is a mistake. They saw sales for this slump and someone didn't connect the reason to be Trilogy...
New Play Control! Pikmin - maybe they are going to issue a Pikmin NPC 1 + 2 collector's edition (same as Metroid Trilogy) a year or so before Pikmin 3 comes out.
Wii Fit - Wii Fit Plus is a complete replacement, no need for this one to exist
Wii Music - maybe Wii Music 2 is coming out soon, completely rehauling the concept and making this one obsolete?
