Retail space is huge and makes a big difference in the life or death of a game. If all that space is taken up by shovelware (aka games I don't enjoy) then not only does it inconvenience me, but it damages the future of the things I enjoy and the people who work hard on them. How would you feel if Terminal Reality had been told that Ghostbusters wouldn't be in Walmart or any other retailer because a new Petz was being released and they couldn't afford the cost or shelf space for your game? |
Actually, I looked at Wal-Mart last week and I didn't see Ghostbusters. ;_;
