FPS
Been around since 1992 with Wolfenstien 3d and continue to be dominant. The desire for new maps is incredible. I want it to die off so that better refined versions can last longer.
JRPG
Excellent story telling, but being a Pen and Paper role player for 20 years makes JRPGs a continues to assault my sensibilities as to what an RPG is. Though I would settle for a genre rename.
WoW clones.
Yes WoW did great. I don't want to see an end to MMO, but I want to see an end of the never ending stream of me too WoW games. How about some imagination and give me a real MMORPG.
Squilliam: On Vgcharts its a commonly accepted practice to twist the bounds of plausibility in order to support your argument or agenda so I think its pretty cool that this gives me the precedent to say whatever I damn well please.
