Oh, that reminds me... EB Games (which I think is the European subsidiary of Gamestop) here is now pushing something like "media warranty", which if I understood correctly is insurance against DVD scratches and things like that...

This struck me as a big scam... isn't it usually the case that stores would replace scratched DVDs for a fee?

 

I think at least their used game sales had a lifetime warranty on them.  I haven't been to Gamestop in a while though.  But yes, that warranty sounds like a bunch of shit.
