I mostly agree with the list, but I don't agree that Fallout 3's battle system (the pic for #10) kicks it up a notch. At higher levels in that game there is pretty much no challenge for the player because you 1) target the enemy's weak spot 2) shoot it multiple times 3) enemy is usually a pile or goo or decapitated before they can even attack you. Even in the uncommon instance that you are hurt badly, you can pause at any time load up on stimpaks. Taking stimpaks should require AP. The way Bethesda designed it is way too easy.

I completely agree about doing something about the stand in a line and take turns attacking each other battle system, but Fallout 3's battle system is hardly anything to aspire towards. I wish RPG developers in general would focus on making combat interesting.

Edit: Garcian Smith's list is actually very good. Agreed on all fronts there.
