I don't love it. Right now I just tolerate it.
But when I used to love it, I did because of atmosphere and immersion. Not the kind of when you're in a dark world like in Bioshock, but more the type of Panzer Dragoon and Ocarina of Time where the environment is calm and magical.
Nowadays I've been mostly enjoying DS games that are arcade-like, which is fun at times but I don't love those as much. The western cinematic ones with violence for the sake of it and "epicness" are intolerable to me.
