...see what I did there, in my last post.

The reason my above WKC example is so astute and all encompassing, is that most of the people on this website are huge fans of the PS3, lol. If someone is attacking an unreleased PS3 exclusive, then their opinion, to the majority of people on this forum(and thus reading this thread), is invalidated.

The truth is, the review was actually reasonably well written, and the analogies, though a bit silly, were well chosen. It is very likely that WKC probably is a mediocre title, and FFXIII is just "great" and not AAA.

However, that's not what I choose to believe. I am very excited for WKC, because I loved FFXII, and I think the innovation of taking a much deeper MMO engine and transitioning it to a console JRPG should be copied much more often. Not many gamers like it, but I love it.

Also, I've yet to be dissapointed in a Final Fantasy game. I like my games linear, and always have. When I get confused and worry about what to do next, it ceases being fun. Even on adventurous games like Zelda or Fallout, I follow a strictly regimented strategy guide to find and defeat my objectives. That is why gaming is fun, to me. It is certain, and it is regimented, and it is someone elses vision that I am enjoying.

Even if the game absolutely sucked, I wouldn't care, because I make my own fun, I always have. I think that's why I like playing videogames.

Either way, good thread. I'm proud to see so many stand up for their beliefs.

I don't need your console war.
It feeds the rich while it buries the poor.
You're power hungry, spinnin' stories, and bein' graphics whores.
I don't need your console war.

NO NO, NO NO NO.
