Istaraelle is not that good actually...I only use it at 5-2 for the resistance.
What I'm trying to say is that the Scraping Spear is not for damage, it's entirely to rip off your armors and shield(if you block)....It's a superb pvp spear(not for dmg). Even if somehow, the player manages to kill the BP with the Scraping Spear, he will have a little smile when you repair your stuffs...
That's why people must not underestimate the Scraping Spear, it can be very good or very bad...depending on the player.
Oh and guys I recommend you to max a Blessed weapon, it is very good. A tad inferior(or superior?) than Blueblood sword...It has Hp regen when equipped plus it does some magical damage...I must read on it because someone had a blessed weapon used on me and even though I was blocking it still dealt damage.
