Mass Effect was delayed supposedly to September. That way they avoid the pitfalls of a holiday release ala KOTOR2 (unfinished). What big uber-name games did we have in 2005 and 2006 for one console exclusively? We had FFXII and GH2 for PS2 last year - both million sellers, but that's it. The 360 has 2 games that will get 3m units easily, and an unknown with Mass Effect and Lost Odyssey. Mass Effect is a new IP, but it comes from freakin' Bioware. KOTOR sold 1m+ KOTOR2 did as well, and Jade Empire did pretty well too. Lost Odyssey is of a strong pedigree since its Mistwaker - BD did 130k thus far in Japan, and made the 360 sell quite a bit. As far as the Famitsu Most Wanted hype meter shows, LO is about twice as anticipated as BD ever was. Which bodes well for the 360. I can't really remember alot of over-hyped "god of all games" for the Xbox that were crap, aside from Fable....Most titles on the 360 that have been hyped ended up being fantastic.
