Yes, by a lot!!!

PS3 in 2010 will have a much better year in terms of software compared to 2009.

So will Wii, therefore, if Wii won in 2009, it will win in 2010

What kind of logic is that?! Sorry but the PS3 lineup up till now is better for 2010, GT5+ FF versus+ Yakuza+ most 3rd party 200k+ sellers vs what? we have Zelda Wii and SMG2(both arent that influential in japan anymore). Sorry Avinash but sometimes i feel you're just out there to annoy people

Well, for possible Wii 200k+ sellers there's...

  • Biohazard: The Darkside Chronicles (Capcom)
  • Hoshi no Kirby (Nintendo)
  • Metroid: Other M (Nintendo)
  • Sengoku Basara 3 (Capcom)
  • Super Mario Galaxy 2 (Nintendo)
  • Vitality Sensor software (Nintendo)
  • Zelda no Densetsu (Nintendo)

...and there's continued sales for (ie: older games that could move 200k+ in 2010)...

  • Mario Kart Wii (Nintendo)
  • New Super Mario Bros. Wii (Nintendo)
  • PokePark Wii: Pikachu no Daibouken (Pokemon)
  • Taiko no Tatsujin Wii 2 (Namco)
  • Wii Fit Plus (Nintendo)
  • Wii Sports Resort (Nintendo)

...I'd agree Wii's 2010 doesn't look as strong as their 2009 yet, but I'm also expecting quite a few more key games to come from Nintendo's close partners (Level 5, Square Enix, Capcom, Namco Bandai, etc).  I'd say the same for PS3 though, this year's lineup isn't yet as strong as 2009 (FFXIII, RE5, Vesperia, Yakuza 3, Gundam, SF4, etc)

Thats what i'm saying, lets not state anything before we really get an idea about the releases. We dont even know if the vitality sensor is gonna be a success or not, its not like everything Nintendo does turns to gold. Plus the idea is more of which games will drive sales rather than sell more. To me SMG2 wont drive sales, neither will metroid or RE. However even if Yakuza sells less than SMG, it will lift PS3 sales.

I also agree both lineups look weaker for now, but i have a feeling we're gonna get a few surprise announcements the next few months
