I think Musou fits well on Wii - they should do more original titles. It could be one of those suprise Japan titles that doesn't drop as fast as expected and does well through Jan/Feb

I think Muosu 3 is definitely surprising people.  I also think it'll get ported to 360/PS3 (and maybe PSP/PS2) in the spring though.  Musou never seem to stay exclusive, but I think we'll be seeing different series "lead" on different platforms now, then get ported to everyone...

PS360

  • Shin Sangoku Musou (Dynasty Warriors)
  • Hokuto Musou (Fist of the North Star)
  • Gundam Musou

Wii

  • Sengoku Musou (Samurai Warriors)

PSP

  • Shin Sangoku Musou Multi-raid (DW Strikeforce)

...not sure what else might lead on Wii, maybe they'll shift Orochi Musou over next (it hasn't led on anything but PS2)?  Or make a deal with Nintendo (Super Mario Musou, lol)?  Actually, there were "Sonic Musou" rumors a year ago, I could see something like that or another licensed IP lead on Wii.

didnt orochi musou already shift to the PS3, or am i confusing 2 names?

But yeah i think SW is just more mainstream than Tales, and thats what works well with the wii. Taiko and Monotarou are 2 titles doing well because of that. Thats exactly why i think DQ and MH fits the Wii so perfectly, especially DQ( a spinoff did half a million there). I hope both these series stay as Wii exclusives.
