Metroid Other M - Looks amazing so far... but I'm very scared it'll have an obscene number of cutscenes and way too much story and become a story driven game... metroid always is about huge worlds and gameplay, not corridors that lead to the next movie! In nintendo we trust, team ninja... not so much!

Dragon Quest IX - Played recently VII (to me it kinda sucked, and i just realized that 100 hours in lol) and VIII, I'm thinking this is not one of my favorite series anymore. Is it me that changed, or the game... well, I'll buy it but I'm thinking i'm not getting as much fun as before.

Final Fantasy XIII - Seven was great. X, not so much... If this is a mix between the two, it better have more VII than X in that blend!

just as a note on Metroid. Nitendo is heavily involved in developing the game (Nintendo + Team Ninja). Nintendo won't let their franchises be developed by others without having a representative there to make sure the game fits within the IP world. So I doubt Metroid willl leave the huge worlds with lots of exploration behind, but we could see an increase in combat which could turn out really well. Not that the there isn't reason for concern, considering we don't know anything about the game.

@slimebeats

Heavy Rain is extremely hyped on this website, so not calling it "big" seems just wrong. Also, we don't know that Alan Wake will get +90, unless we know that Heavy Rain will get +90.

On this website yes, but I strongly believe this is one of few expections and once the game is out and we've seen the initial reviews and sales, we won't be comparing Heavy Rain to Alan Wake or Halo: Reach in terms of 'being big'.

But time will tell.

Did you notice he called you "SlimeBEATS"? That's actually kind of a cool name, if you were a DJ or something. Are you?

Heh, yeah. Sadly I'm no DJ. Not that I really would want to be, but it sounds kinda cool with Slimebeats lol.
