In my opinion you should upgrade your bow first, since you'll need Hardstones for both the Bow and the Axe, and you'll find better weapons further down the game than the Axe. Upgrade your bow to +7, that way, when you defeat the Armored Spider Boss in 2-1, you can make the Lava Bow with the soul he drops, it's the best bow for characters with Dexterity less than 30. |
I was so happy that I could finally start converting my Demon's souls into weapons/spells when I found Sage Freke that I used the Armoured Spider's soul to get that useless fire spell which I now never use, not realising that some souls have multiple purposes! Looks like I'll have to wait till NG+ for my Lava Bow :(
