Strictly speaking about Japan the gap between the Wii and PS3 is 2.42 million units. If the PS3 continues to beat the Wii by an average of 9,000 units a week it will take exactly 22.4 years for the PS3 to catch the Wii just in Japan. However, since the Wii outsells the PS3 WW by 3:1 the Wii is in no danger at all anyway. It's funny how Sony fans think a a 3 week run of outselling by a few thousand units in the smallest, most insignificant market is a big win or something, LOL...
