Seriously Barozi, go ahead and act like big man on campus as much as you want, but I'm not going to sit here in a petty argument with you. FPS is horrible on dual-analog compared to mouse and keyboard and if you disagree, well, more power to you. Learning how to play in such an incredibly roundabout and screwed up way is commendable, especially when there's a way better option available right in front of you.

I can tell you right now that if they ever made a FPS which had crossplatform online play, any and all dual analog players would quit within a week. Quote me on it.

lol it's not like I never played a FPS online with my PC using a 360 controller.

and I still end up in the Top 5 after every round (Team Fortress 2)

Probably by playing an Engineer. Let's see how you fare in UT or Quake, or hell, CSS. Dual analog is a laughably bad and limiting control mechanic for FPS.

Also the PC version is NOT cheaper, it's $60. So I say "fuck you" IW/Activision, pirate the game, install the hack that lets you play on IWNet and all official servers, and flick off Activision/IW. That's how a normal person should approach MW2, maybe they will learn not to fuck with PC versions next time. Also if you feel too terrible, send them a $10 check, which is about what this game is worth on the PC.

I play Demoman and Soldier in the first place and a bit Heavy when I feel like it.

My point still stands. An experienced dual analog player can easily compete with an average PC gamer.

I never said that dual analog is superior to keyboard and mouse or anything like that.

The funniest thing about this is that when I was first writing my response the Demoman and the Soldier were the first to pp into my head. Didn't realize about the Engineer until after I had dissed IW.

Try one of the classes which take a little more activity, like the Scut or the Pyro. Deficiencies in the dual analog set up will be quite apparent with the scout.

However I do agree, an experienced player can compete with an average PC player, but probably not so much against an experienced PC player.

Agreed.

About the Scout part: That's true, but even with keyboard and mouse I never play Scout. I just don't like him.

See, I used to love the scout. It was just like UT2004 with the double jump and the speed and the flak cannon. Then I realized that the shotgun is nowhere near as powerful as I would have liked it to be...
