Wii has it's biggest week ever (1.84 mil) and MK Wii passes 20 mil

You'd think it would go the other way, that their unfavorable performance as compared to the Wii would convince them that new hardware is needed sooner.

 

The positive thing i think that high Wii sales nets HD console owners is that Wii sales should mean that the next PS and Xbox won't launch at such high prices anymore, beneficial for those looking to upgrade.

Could go either way honestly, since they could stick to this gen until they break even, or next gen won't be a big upgrade so they can break even therefore it could be sooner. There's thoughts that could go either way, but what I'm thinking a major graphical upgrade would do nothing but hurt games since dev costs as it is, is wiping some publishers and devs out.
