Because they want to make pretty pictures, and the Wii won't let them.

Actually, it's detailed pictures, and pretending the detail makes them pretty, instead of plain, old talent.

If using the same franchises for 20 years is talent for you, fine, for me it isn't.

 

Franchises don't make themselves. You still need to make the games good. And you obviously don't realize just how many franchises now in HD are 20 years old.



A flashy-first game is awesome when it comes out. A great-first game is awesome forever.
