Sony expected people to buy the PS3 @ £425/$600, their arrogance cost them dear, the ps3 has already lost them lots of money, another re-desingn so soon would show just exactly how hard times have become.

I applaud recent ps3 sales, but the 360's still hanging in there with no official price cut in a long time.

Microsoft were very quiet on both the hardware and software advertising fronts last year, with Halo: Reach and many other stellar games coming throughout this year expect another microsoft marketing blitz that will easily rival if not surpass HALO 3's advertising blitz.

MWF2 = 8 million copies

Borderlands= very successful

Assassin's Creed

Halo ODST = 4million plus copies

Left4dead2 = huge

360 = $199/ arcade, huge advantage

360 Elite= huge deals all over, was 249 plus 6 games in November.

regular Elite plus 2 games = PS3 Slim

uk= 130 pounds

Every freaking Modern Warfare commercials had the 360

Yeah, I applaud the 360 for hanging in there. The 360 had a terrific holiday, there was just a bigger demand for the PS3, no big deal. Hopefully your 10 million gap prediction happens this year.
