However US and UK are two biggest games markets on the planet currently. To put that into some context Japan only sold 3k more Wii's for the whole year then UK. Sony have spent a fortune trying to get the PS3 selling above the 360 here and it has not worked. I don't live in US so can't tell you what it's advertising campaign has been like there over xmas but here it is everywhere. Every couple of hours your see an advert for a PS3 game. Where as the only MS advert that seems to be on is one about a bundle at Argos. So while the other countries matter they don't matter as much as US and UK do in terms of game sales. It is like an election. Some states hold more points then others. Does not mean those in the lesser ones are not important just means your get less votes there. Capiche? |
Do you live in the UK?
Please don't spread false info. If that argos ad is the only x360 ad you see then fair enough but it is incorrect.
If you are talking about adverts relating to bargains (good deals) then yes, there is the argos one. Where is the PS3 bargain ad?
x360 ads far exceed those of the PS3. I wish there was a site where you can find out this information. I will look it up.
Before I typed this the GTA x360 ad was just on. Honest.
Also MW2 is all x360 and that was on all the way up to christmas.
Today I also saw the stream movies and watch sky on x360 ad.
Yes, there is argos ad.
There, 4 x360 ads that curently dominate UK TV - that I can recall.
Right up to christmas you could have got 3 x360 ads in one ad break.
PS3 ads are U2, AC2 (not seen in a while), and the general PS3 ad.
How do I know? There is a huge LCD TV in my office that is usually on. You can't miss them. I honestly don't watch that much TV.
