Great sales worldwide for PS3 but as i mentioned before the gap in US between 360 and PS3 is increasing and in UK it is the same. Yeah the 360 is really taking NA and the UK by the scruff of the neck and PS3 sales will probably be down to 10K in Japan in no time at all. I'm sure Sony will be worried about 360 taking NA and UK and that too so significantly, none of the other countries matter after all since they pay with those delicious chocolate coins.

I find that this site is much much better with hardware in comparison to software. Usually quite close so must commend ioi for that........goodness those software sales though. :/

 

If you base that "scruff of the neck" statement on just this ONE week, then yeah.

The gap between PS3 and x360 in NA had been rather small previous weeks.

None the less that is an outstanding NA result for the x360 - if you take the wii's mad sales out of the equation.

PS3 well over 900k is very good.

PS: Lol. Nice one about the chocolate coins. Those chocolate coins are the most valuable currency in the world.

Yea, no worries of the 360 is doing better than ps3 in NA, both systems r doing very well, the 360 is just more popular. If I had a choice of the 360 vs ps3 debate but only in na, id take the 360 just bcus of the fan base and popularity of its games over xbox live.

Overall, it was still a gr8 year for all 3 systems, the ps3 did very well in the last stretch and still managed to do 900k+. the ps3 will definitly have a better 2010, just feelin it.

Im just glad my predictions I made last year so very acurate, the hd consoles will head in next year with big momentum, not sure how the wii will stack up to the big competition but it will be tough.

my 65 mil wii, 35 mil 360, and 30 mil ps3 preiction was right about on the money, not sure about next year but the ps3 may be able to overtake the 360 the 2010 holidays if not it will get pretty close.
