Yeah the 360 is really taking NA and the UK by the scruff of the neck and PS3 sales will probably be down to 10K in Japan in no time at all. I'm sure Sony will be worried about 360 taking NA and UK and that too so significantly, none of the other countries matter after all since they pay with those delicious chocolate coins. I find that this site is much much better with hardware in comparison to software. Usually quite close so must commend ioi for that........goodness those software sales though. :/

Well they do care about all those countries, every sale helps each of the manafacturers.
However US and UK are two biggest games markets on the planet currently. To put that into some context Japan only sold 3k more Wii's for the whole year then UK. Sony have spent a fortune trying to get the PS3 selling above the 360 here and it has not worked. I don't live in US so can't tell you what it's advertising campaign has been like there over xmas but here it is everywhere. Every couple of hours your see an advert for a PS3 game. Where as the only MS advert that seems to be on is one about a bundle at Argos.
So while the other countries matter they don't matter as much as US and UK do in terms of game sales. It is like an election. Some states hold more points then others. Does not mean those in the lesser ones are not important just means your get less votes there. Capiche?
