It doesn't matter if its a prequel, its number 3 in the series. Going by that logic, I should also compare Metal Gear Portable Ops to Halo Wars. Halo 3 is the third installment of the series as well, and has sold more than Metal Gear Solid 3 in less than 2 months. Also, Halo Wars will not be the fourth installment of the Halo series, so why compare it to MGS4?
And Halo 1+2 has sold more than MGS1+2.
And if it hadn't, Halo is a bigger fracnhise at the moment, hence me saying MGS isn't as big as it used to be.
