Duont know i this would be a sound direction. Nintendo hasn't been much of an adopter of unproven visuals yet, thus why they waited this gen to see if HD was going to be successful. Hell, they haven't even adopted Dolby Digital audio yet, still using Pro Logic II. I doubt Nintendo would jump the gun graphically.
