@Outlaw- i refuse to Pay to play online, end of story there pal, its just not worth it to me. as for the cable issue, thats not gonna happen aswell since the family ethernet box thing is in our living room, so i can't use that. im actually getting ready to sell my 120GB 360 hard-drive soon since its not getting any real use out of it. :/

@Maxwell- Its $30? >_>

Seraphic, there are some things about you I will never be able to understand.

What that he won't buy gold?  There's many people with that same stance.

Exactly, its not like its a must. though i will admit and give it to outlaw that i would be consider'n strange in SOME ways cuz i've had a few good conversations with the guy to the point where he'd judge me as abit... odd, BUT not in this one since not everyone likes to pay to play online.

Just pointed this tid-bit out here.

It's just a service that I think has value. I'd buy it for Party Chat alone.

Well chances are PSN gets party chat eventually sometime this year, granted it may be a gimped version of the 360's in-game chat, but it'll be free so can't really complain. and thats all that matters, in my honest opinion of course, more money to go towards gamers rather then a service thats over-priced.

Well, if it weren't for Party Chat I would have never been able to beat Blue Dragon and Star Ocean IV. It has saved me from not finishing games despite being bad!

You told me this and I still don't understand it, why play a game you think is bad?  Hell you can call up a friend or invite them over to the house, that costs nothing, its a lot more fun playing crap games with real life friends cause you two can make fun of it together and trade off when it becomes too much for the guy playing.  Even then I rarely waste my time playing bad games... for that matter I don't waste my money buying bad games or waste it on a service that can make me "stomach" a bad game >_>

That is mostly for humor, but Party Chat to me is kinda like co-op or local multiplayer for some games. It take a something not that much fun and make it tons of fun.

Also, bad games can still be enjoyable. I really enjoyed Star Ocean's gameplay outside of the targeting!
