Preorders of Bayonetta look solid on both HD consoles, and although NOT my cup of tea, it has received critical praise all around mainly for what matters GAMEPLAY. The Yakuza series has a cult following so sales won't be OMG high but there are plenty who will buy, me being one of those. Alpha Protocol I honestly don't know since I never bothered to check anything out on it. Furthermore how is it a "fact" that Bayonetta, Yakuza 3 and AP going to tank? Give me your time machine because I definitely want to see when FF vs XIII comes out and I want to play it too. MadWorld was actually fun btw, Conduit was trying to much to look like a next gen console game, something that the Wii can't do. But in the systems defense it actually produces some fun games (as gameplay IS the most important aspect), and Muramasa is the only game I would actually buy a Wii for. |
MadWorld was repetitive and limiting. It was all style, no substance. If you want a great beat 'em up from these guys, seek out God Hand on PS2.
Conduit had nice tech, but it still looked like shit. Art killed it, and frankly when we had fps like Halo 2, Half-Life 2 and Black last gen, Wii's capable of far, far better than The Conduit.
As far as Sega's upcoming bombs, well call it a hunch. I guess we'll see, but I do expect Bayonetta to sell the best among the 3 of them. It may actually break 200k even.
