PS3 May eventually struggle into 2nd place in 2-3 years.
X360 doing awesome in the US and software sales too, PS3 coming in a respectable third place is ok.
PS3 and Xbox are doing pretty well considering they are essentially just HD versions of the Ps2 and XBox, the ps2 games play exactly the same as ps3 games only in lower resolution, even the controllers are identical, and other than a few asthetics these consoles are identical.
Wii continues to be the undisputed king - they are maintaining over 50% of console sales - the wii-mote, motion sensing controllers are pure genius and fun to use, untill sony or MS develop the better user interface technologies and market a next generation console and games to match the Wii's , nintendo basically have the next gen console market entirely to themselves.
