@Kamal: Yeah, i definately agree with the god is the judge. But that's only leaving us with how each individual interprets it.
As the wikipedia quote(?) you posted mentioned, some scholars argue that jihad isn't supposed to include aggressive warfare, but some argue that it's nothing but aggressive warfare, and they're both right. But, in both cases, jihad includes passive "warfare".
