Both Mass Effect and Too Human are both being published by Microsoft Game Studios so I'd be really surprised if either game graced another console. Has any game published by Microsoft Game Studios *ever* appeared on a rival's console? Add to that the really close ties Silicon Knights and Microsoft now have (due to Ken Lobb who used to work for Silicon Knights and now is one of the top people at Microsoft Game Studios) and the fact that Bioware has stated that the Mass Effect triliogy "cover the Xbox 360's five-plus year cycle" leads me to believe that some kind of exclusivity deal covering the trilogy has been made. Also Bioware's other rpgs they made for Microsoft in the past have never been ported so unless something has changed it doesn't seem likely it'll start happening now.

Interesting information on Silicon Knights. Thanks.

As for the publisher, it really doesn't matter who publishes unless they also co-develop. Bioware could easily choose a different publisher for Mass Effect. Japanese developers use different publishers for ports all the time.

The thing is though that none of Bioware's other rpgs that were published by Microsoft Game Studios ever made it to either the PS2 or NGC and considering the 100 million plus PS2s out there and those games still weren't ported, I would be very surprised if they decide to do it now for a much smaller PS3 installed base. Besides that It would be the first Microsoft Game Studios published title to ever appear on a rival's console. I'm willing to bet that Microsoft makes some kind of exclusivity agreement with the games they publish (and they fund some of the development costs of the games like they did with Gears of War) otherwise why haven't any of those games ever been ported before?

Bioware is developing an unannounced PS3 game, now, or so I've heard.  Things change.  There hadn't been a DMC game on the xbox until DMC4.

Also, Bioware let 2K games (owned by take 2, who also owns rockstar) publish Jade Empire for the PC (granted, Microsoft OS).  It's also published by Valve on steam.

Bioware is also releasing a game on the DS.  I don't think Bioware has released a game on anything besides the PC and xbox before.  I think they chose the xbox because it was closest to PC development.  Now they seem to be branching out.

I'd also like to point out that along with Jade Empire, KotOR 1 and 2 were on the PC.  Bioshock and Lost Planet will also be on the PC.  Seems to me that getting a budget video card would allow me to play more games I want to play than a 360 (due to PC exclusives).  I hate FPS on consoles (until they all support keyboards and mice which I don't think is far away).  Consoles also need to support more mods.

Anyway, we'll see.  So many things make this year interesting.
