Both! I finally got it, and I've got to hand it to Climax. Well done!

When I got it I was blown away. The artstyle itself is pretty shocking and a great homage to the first title and its pop Japanese heritage. I laughed out loud at it. Climax earned a point from me for it.

 

I thought it was fun, but as I didn't played the first Silent Hill game I really don't get it at all. Whatever, I finished it for the third time and got another different ending. This time Cheryl was recording how her mother was shouting to Harry, humiliating him  O_O. How did I got that ending..... no idea
