You do know that PS3 is more than 7 million behind X360 right now? Obviously PS3 can catch X360 some day but definitely noone claims MGS4 will turn the tide in one day. MGS4 probably will sell more systems than Halo 3 and it will have a very possitive affect but your assumption that so called Sony supporters imply MGS4 will boost PS3 enough to catch an X up is simply wrong. With very good pace PS3 can catch X in 2009 or 2010. It will be an effect of great line-up not single game.
