Really enjoy this game so far:) Great gameplay and atmosphere:P, but i read some message lying outside a door telling beginners to keep out, i thought you were supposed to complete the whole level so i went in and died:P

You have to kill the boss to be able to move on to the next stage which doesn't necessarily mean having to complete everything in the level first time round. If you die then yes you restart from the begining of the level but most of the stages have various shortcuts which can be opened as you go meaning that you wont have to redo the entire level all the time.

You spend your souls on repairing/upgrading weapons and buying stat increases and spells but I don't think you can do that until you have killed the boss in 1-1 and then returned to the nexus.

you can spend you soul back on the nexus before killing the 1-1 boss :

- use the ring on your inventory even if you will also lose all your soul ...

- fo back to the archstone (starting point), click on X and then choose "go back to nexus"
