Well, the best beginner's friendly class is without a doubt, the Royal.

It starts with a magic spell, meaning you can do ranged and magical attacks right from the start, and it has a MP regeneration ring, thus with good strategy you can pummel any enemy down with the Soul Arrow spell.

Another nice class to start as is the Hunter, since you also start with a Bow (which is manually aimed, this is an awesome thing to do sniper shots from afar, you can even kill enemies before they come to close to you).

Both classes also come with a Sword/Shield Combo, which is rather useful to learn how to block and dodge, since both classes also start with Light Armour
