My friends range anywhere from a 10 minute drive to a 26 hour flight. They also have jobs and live in partners and all kinds of obligations that don't mean they can get together in one house every night. 

"Hey buddy, want to play Mario together?" "I can't because there's no online"

Ok. You have a really good point. That's the main reason why online gaming was invented. Im only saying that i enjoy local gaming more than online. I really love see their faces when they lose.

But only with mario games. Of course there are games that were made specially for online game, like L4D, CoD:MW, HALO, and others...
