When I look at both I fail to care which is better because if I never played either of them I wouldn't be missing much.

I personally do not like JRPGs but I wouldn't say that FF13 is flawed because I do not like it or will not play it.

I think that the discussion has become so heated because in part both KZ2 and MW2 are excellent FPS. MW2 won best shooter here but KZ2 won best shooter at Gamespot. Both decisions are not scandalous though I personally favour KZ2.
