That hardly seems a fair bet as it's already an open and shut case.   FFXIII already dropped 87% in it's second week to about 250,000 compared to NSMBW selling over 500,000 in it's third week.    FFXIII sales will continue to plummet and NSMBW will enjoy typical loooooooong Wii legs making it impossible for FFXIII to ever catch NSMBW in Japan and zero chance ww.

I know. But he still thinks FFXIII will beat NSMBWii in Japan at the end of the gen. Hence why I want to make the bet with him.

Well, if he still wants to bet after reading this then go ahead.   But it's kinda like taking candy from a baby.  If your going to bet you should have at least a chance of losing.

Must burn SE butts a bit to know that a relatively low-cost game like NSMBW will vastly outsell their masterpiece that they took 5 years and Lord knows how many millions to make.
