Did you think New Super Mario Bros Wii would outsell Mario Galaxy?

Durr.

I'll admit, when the game was initially revealed I didn't think too much of it (above Brawl, definitely under Mario Kart). Once the game got closer to launch and we got more info (confirmation that it wasn't a... erm, DS port), 20 million didn't sound like a problem. Where the game will end up remains to be seen, as it's mostly dependent on legs in America / Others, but it's selling around expectations so far.

I'll say this much though, the numbers it has put up in Japan is something I'd never have guessed.
