Outsell it lifetime? Yeah, I had a feeling, if only because of the growing userbase.

But *spank it*, like it's preparing to do? No. I didn't see that coming.

And not to take this thread in a new (likely unpleasant) direction, but the sales of NSMBWii seem like another feather in Malstrom's cap. A pretty big, peacock-like feather.

I mean, personally? I *love* SMG and would put it in my top 3, all time. But Malstrom said sales of a new 2d Mario would make the 3d series seem like a spin off--that the gameplay of 2d Mario has a broad appeal that the 3d series just hasn't matched--and... it's starting to look like that might be the case.
