The holiday sales spike does make it hard to gauge the long term sales property of the game, but I have a feeling it will have consistent good sales.
On the advertising front I definitely believe this does add fuel to the fire that wii games need more advertising and do believe MadWorld and even multi platform games would have had some benefit from it.
@couchmonkey: I fear that what you say is true but have the feeling it will be. That instead of looking at the properties that might make this game successful they will take the fad angle.
