I own both a PS2 and GOW 1 and 2. Neither game is the best of it's genre. And I have finished both. They are good games with flaws. DI does it better. GOW 3? We shall see. But already GOW 3 loses in the setting department.

I disagree.  DI has worse gameplay, already seen that it has worse graphics than GoW3, and finally while I think that the cutscenes have a cooler style in DI, the overall feel of the game's story as well as the setting that it's set in has to go again to GoW3.

edit: based on what I've played in the demos I would summise that DI will be a High 7 or low 8 game at best, and GoW3 will be of similar quality to the previous God of Wars and will probably end up a high 8 or low 9.  That would be my prediction anyway
