Gilgamesh - that would be the worst the Wii has ever done (in terms of market share) on a consistent basis, ignoring times when it was supply constrained. You can't make that prediction without some pretty good justification

The Wii is down almost 20% from 2008, and there really isn't anything big coming to Wii in 2010. It could drop the price but it IS already $200 so dropping the price another $50 probably wouldn't be that big

Seems as though the Wii peaked in 2008, I see 2010 being worst then 2009 for the Wii.

The PS3 has a lot going for it now, selling for $299, having some of the best exclusives, the slim. Also there biggest games are coming out in 2010 and there getting 3D, the rise of Blu-ray, Gem. 2010 is going to be one of the best years for the PS3.

Sorry, my sarcasm meter doesnt work at the moment, so you'll have to help me out. Are you being serious here? 2010 for the Wii could end up being one of the best years any console has ever seen. I'm not going to list wars you to death, do your own research

No I'm not being sarcastic.

I'm not really sure why you think 2010 could be the Wii's best year, I would like to know why you think this though, maybe I got my information all wrong about the Wii for 2010.

Super Mario Galaxy 2 and Metroid: Other M are confirmed 2010. This is 2 of nintendo's 3 series that are popular with reviewers

Zelda is likely a 2010 Christmas title

Pikmin is very likely

Add in to that the continued sucess of WF+, WSR and NSMB:Wii and you have a hell of a lot of 1st party sucess. There will also be a Wii Vitality sensor (don't underestimate it), Mario Party 9 as a possibility and no doubt some surprises. Nintendo have very rarely had so much announced

Also some great 3rd party games, Red Steel 2 will likely be the best single player FPS this gen (my opinion obviously, but oh well), Monster Hunter 3 in the west, a whole bunch more as well

I know the PS3 also has a huge games lineup for 2010, but the Wii's will be very good. The only reason the Wii was down YoY is because in 2008 Ninty released their big games early, and in 2009 they released their big games late. So the Wii lost a bit of momentum, but it's picked up again now
