For the western audience LO will be much more appealing. Final Fantasy fans should love the game.
The problem with Blue Dragon is that it was a carbon copy of Dragon Quest which has been not received that well by the West. So BD sucking in EU/US was expected, but don't expect LO to suck because it won't. If MS market and hype the game it will easily sell over a million.
