They are trying to meet the demand for the 360 especially the elite. No time to release silly press releases when they know the numbers will do the talking when they are released. You don't see nintendo saying anything but I guess they are always the exception to the rule. Basically Nintendo and MS don't need to cry out for attention as they let theur hardware and software speak for themselves.
