They include those who bought PS3s to watch movies considering the great deals of 80gb PS3s which include 10+ BD movies.

Of course. There is no way to tell how many gamers have it, other than software sales. One thing which I haven't found out yet is whether the PS3 is also the cheapest Blu-Ray player in Japan. In the USA I'm sure there are many people who only use the PS3 for Blu-Ray, and will likely never contribute to software sales.

 

Yes but to say that people bought a PS3 for Blu ray can't be confirmed and the PS3 commercials focus on games.
