Wrong.
The PS3 sold 9k, week ending 17th November, 13k more, week ending 10th November and the PS3 could very well sell another 10-20k more last week as well.
Yes, it will take some time for the PS3 to overtake the 360 (if it evry does), but it certainly is growing very quickly in comparison.
- 8 months after the 360 was released in Europe it had sold 1.28m
- 8 months after the PS3 was released in Europe it had sold 1.98m
Also, take into consideration that the PS3 hasn't had an Xmas season yet, whereas the 360 did have one in it's first 8 months. The PS3 has sold a whopping 700k more in the same time frame.

Permanent pricedrop for both PS4 Slim and PS4 Pro in October.
