MS isn't in that much better shape to offer a price cut if they ever want earn back the $5 billion plus they've already lost. Sony has barely suffered a paper cut. On top of that, Sony as a company is still making a profit, so I don't think they're too worried at this early stage in the game. No doubt this Christmas is important for all the companies, but the fact of the matter is that we still have probably 4-5 years left in this generation. |
microsoft is a money making machine so $5 billion is nothing to them and they new the wouldnt make a profit on the original xbox, microsoft just wanted to stop sony taking over the living room at any cost
