Why dont you compare the ps3 and wii software ratios? Im more than certain the ps3 has a higher attach ratio. Also how can you expect the ps2 to have a 40% attatch ratio if it sold 130million, and only a couple of games surpassed the 10 million mark whcih isnt even a 10% attach ratio.

Since the Wii is outselling the PS3 by 2:1 or more, and I'm sure you will exclude WiiSports (and probably WiiPlay) PS3 will probably come out on top (remember to exclude Motorstorm & other bundled titles on the PS3).

(sales ratio has got nothing to do with attach rate BTW - the PS2 should be doing really well in contributing towards the overall sales ratio - with its huge install base - but its not. It doesn't help that there aren't really any big PS2 exclusives this Xmas)

But that's only half the story isn't it? Why don't you have a go at making a thread about the business case aspect of developing a PS3 title vrs a Wii title?

(high dev costs + low install base, vrs low dev costs + high install base)
