Id say no one cares about UK sales, while Japan has exclusives for that region, they release their own numbers for people who are interested in what they show etc. UK isn't of any interest.

UK is Europe.. no one sits and go "i can't wait to see how this and that game does in the UK". But articles, forums and news sites post massive amount of content on how games and consoles does in Japan.

UK is boring.

This is a great point.

There are many Japan-exclusive games out there which are internally targeted. They don't see release in any other country unless they become popular enough in Japan. The rest of the world barely sees 10% of Japanese games....

So, Japan only sales is a very important number, both to give evidence for possible exports, and to understand why some Japanese games sell, and some don't.

If a game is released in the UK, it will pretty much be released everywhere else, so it doesn't really make sense to track UK only sales, since they aren't really that vital for a game to be successful, unlike NA and Japan.

I totally agree. The only reason the OP wants a UK chart is solely based on general sales, which is narrow minded.

As pointed out Japan gets it's own games. I know some people who are crazy about importing Japanese games.

I have never heard of a UK only release.

Even if it is just sales Japan move approx 750K pieces of hardware last week.

I don't see the UK doing that.
