Well he claims that American soldiers dying in war is God's way of punishing America for tolerating gay people. I think that is the definition of a tenuous argument, there is nothing to back up that claim. Yet he continues to assert this tenuous argument in such a disgusting manner (because he can't back it up with logic) that he loses all respect from people, people he claims he wants to show they way. He shoots himself in the foot...
In other words, the guy is a fucking moron who clearly only has the brain capacity of an Echinoderm. He shows no logic in his actions whatsoever.
If he wanted to win people over the last thing he should do is picket a soldiers funeral. Common sense.
But here's the ultimate irony, more Iraqi people have died in the war than Americans. In Iraq being homosexual used to be a crime and even now if you are gay you are likely to be lynched. If somehow God was responsible for all deaths in the war based on gay tolerance like Phelp's suggests, then surely that means God is punishing those who are intolerent of gay people.
