Nope Soriku. Sorry. This is only wishful thinking. Check the trailer again. The blue line is drawn, the character slashes that point a few seconds later.

0:31 shows it pretty well.

Damn, and this was a game that i was really looking forward to! Now there´s only Red Steel 2

 

 

It's basically the only instance though.  There's far more footage of slashing with no lines at all, so it's more likely than not just one of the optional setups.  I'm betting on several optional methods to choose from (IR line drawing, motion sensing, motion + sensing, 2nd analog line drawing) given the variety of controller options already given (Wiimote, Wiimote+nunchuck, Wiimote+nunchuck+Motion+, Classic Controller/Pro).

That´s a possibility.

But there´s a lot of blue lines around the trailer. Even the oficial site shows it.
